"Before I was employed by the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra, I lived as a freelance musician and I know this situation very well.
In an orchestra there is a works council that looks after the safety and fair treatment of its members.
For a very long time I have wished for a body for freelance musicians to which everyone can turn with concerns that usually cannot be dealt with as an individual.
