"Music is the common language of humanity! Without organizations like the IGFM, freelance musicians - who bring it to humanity - would hardly have a common voice.
As artistic director, I adhere to the fair pay limits and feel it is my job to program in such a way that the musicians' salaries enable them to live a socially secure life.
As a pianist, I am convinced that we freelance musicians can only create the framework conditions to protect creative individualism as a mutually supportive group."
