Salzburg Musicians' Get-Together
A space for professional musicians to network, share experiences, and speak openly about the realities of today’s music industry.
The Musicians' Roundtable was born out of a simple conviction: We deserve fair pay, respect, and better working conditions.
All too often, freelance artists face precarious working conditions, low pay, and a lack of transparency regarding fees and professional standards.
Through regular meetings, we aim to encourage open discussions on these topics and raise awareness within the music community.
Issues such as fair pay, contract negotiations, working conditions, and long-term prospects in the freelance music industry are matters that many musicians are left to deal with on their own. We believe that an open exchange of experiences and knowledge can bring about positive change for everyone in the music industry.
Instead of a traditional lecture series, these evenings are meant to be informal, open, and discussion-oriented. We’ll meet in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can actively participate or simply listen, make new connections, and exchange ideas.

Musicians Meet Up Salzburg
A space for professional musicians to connect, share experiences, and openly discuss the realities of working in today’s music industry.
The Musicians Meet Up was created with a simple idea in mind: we deserve fair pay, respect, and better working conditions. All too often, freelance artists face unstable working conditions, low fees, and a lack of transparency regarding pay and professional standards.
By meeting regularly, we aim to foster open discussions about these issues and raise awareness within the music community.
Topics such as fair compensation, negotiating fees, working conditions, and long-term sustainability in freelance music work are issues that many musicians have to figure out on their own. We believe that openly sharing experiences and knowledge can help bring about positive change for everyone working in the field.
Rather than a formal lecture series, these evenings are designed to be informal, welcoming, and discussion-oriented. We meet in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is free to participate actively or simply listen and connect with others.
