We are in regular contact with local cultural politicians in the federal provinces, with the Federal Ministry of Culture, Education and the Arts (BMKÖS) and with central decision-makers such as State Secretary for Culture Andrea Mayer.
We have also been able to take part in a number of discussions, e.g. at the Forum Lockenhaus in summer 2020 and in the discussion series "Resilient artists" at the Graz University of the Arts.
Our Calculations of fair minimum salaries for "free orchestra work" and "small ensemble work" have been published by mica.
At the moment we are also working intensively on the exchange with other cultural organisations and on the further expansion of strong provincial groups in order to be represented in every corner of Austria and to be able to stay in close contact with local politicians.
Furthermore, we are pleased that established personalities of the Austrian music scene stand behind us as ambassadors - they help us to make our objectives and not least our expertise accessible to a broad public.
