Fee recommendations of the IGFM

On this page you can find the continuously updated fee recommendations and recommendations on travel expenses and allowances of the IGFM.

Never before have such calculations been made for freelance music work in Austria. We were able to draw on valuable insights from the German Music and Orchestra Association (unisono) and the Association of Early Music in Berlin (VAM), among others, and learn from best-practice examples from all over Europe.

We are convinced that only clear, appreciative communication based on transparent calculations without polemics can shed light on the often murky employment and remuneration conditions in the Austrian music world.
